Ready for a new experience in music?
When two individual artists with the urge to
express the same emotions meet, a truly unique chemistry unfolds.
Singer Jamie Wong-Li and
pianist and producer Andreas
Michel meet in fall 2004. The timing is right and they
begin to write songs together. The intense collaboration produces
a collection of beautifully quiet, sincere and peaceful songs,
which are now being released as their debut album: „Golden
Child“.
The plain and honest poetry of the 14 original
compositions matches the fragile yet impressive melodies.
Those passionate songs are profound and full of melancholy
but they're always carried by a unique sense of reconciliation.
Jamie Wong-Li's
warm and intense voice is the focus in the acoustic arrangements.
In addition to pianist Andreas
Michel's sensitive craft the music is well supported by
other great musicians: Sandro
Schneebeli (g), Andy Seidt (g), Toni Schiavano (bass), Beat von Wattenwyl
(perc), Daniel Aebi (drums)
and Simon Baumann (drums).
